The Kiwi Workplace Challenge is a fun and entertaining way to enhance individual wellbeing & vitality and when run in a workplace has a tremendous impact on teamwork and morale.
To engage participants, the programme uses world leading technology so as teams of four use their real world activity to complete each stage of the 10 week challenge, they experience a virtual tourism adventure hosted by rugby legend, Mils Muliaina.

So that everyone can compete on a level playing field, there is an Open Division for people who are currently inactive, but seeking to improve their activity levels and an Advanced Division for those already active.
To get started the team manager registers a team of four via the event website and then all team members build their own unique animated characters. We then provide each team member an 'Ignition Kit' which contains a high quality pedometer, a cap, shoe bag and sling bag.
Once registered every team has access to fundraising tools so they can easily invite their friends and colleagues to sponsor their team & all funds raised are used by Heart Children New Zealand to support Kiwi heart kids all over New Zealand.
On the Challenge start day all team members put on their Pedometer to record their daily steps and print a Steps and Activity recording sheet from the website. At the end of the day they use the sheet to record their daily steps and any other activity they did such as a gym class, swimming.
The next day team members enter their steps and activity into the Challenge website to move their team move around the course (the course has 12 stages and teams have a maximum of 10 weeks to complete it).
